Group fights Weyerhaeuser's use of 'green' certification

...Washington Forest Law Center has made...clear-cuts a central part of a complaint [on behalf of the Sierra Club] seek[ing] to revoke Weyerhaeuser's SFI certification for failure to protect water, soil.., other resources. The center alleges [Weyerhaeuser] engaged in high-risk logging of unstable slopes, and...subsequent slides worsened downstream flooding....
